　2019年12月15日在北京Temple东景缘展出艺术家林菁与顶级手工艺术地毯品牌毯言织造最新合作推出的“矛盾空间”手工艺术地毯系列，展览从2019年12月15日持续至中国农历元宵节后。

　　顶级手工艺术地毯品牌“毯言织造”自创立之初就将创造力作为引领品牌发展的核心，在追求精湛工艺的同时，亦注重艺术性的创新尝试，在平衡实用性的同时破除常规设计。

　　艺术家林菁喜欢用多棱镜观察已熟知的事物，那些熟知到不能让她再有新鲜感的环境立刻使人产生兴奋，好奇甚至是愉悦，她很想把这种体验通过作品传递分享给别人。与毯言织造合作推出的“矛盾空间”系列地毯，以多棱镜为灵感，将多棱镜反射出的光影视觉世界以精湛手工编织匠心呈现。

　　毯言织造手工艺术织毯生产于尼泊尔加德满都，采用高密度顶级藏毯编织工艺以及海拔4500米以上的高山藏羊毛和天然真丝。每张织毯经过20多道人工工序，精工细作。

　　艺术手工地毯区别于其它地毯，在于它精巧而独特的设计与娴熟的传统手工编织记忆和高品质原材料之间的完美结合，不仅能提供并满足现代人个性化的空间设想，并具有很强的收藏价值。

　　艺术家林菁的家具作品以及油画作品一同展示。“矛盾空间”概念贯穿于展览空间，带你在“熟悉与陌生”世界中短暂出走，在现实与虚幻的边缘游离。

　　关于林菁

　　林菁毕业于中央美术学院壁画系，后又到比利时布鲁塞尔皇家美术学院雕塑系学习深造。十几年前转行做设计，很快成为炙手可热的独立设计师，后来执掌的“非”空间又成为中西独立设计师的乐园。林菁的设计之路从未停滞。从艺术家、设计师到推动独立设计师更好地发展，林菁总是充满兴趣地尝试不同范畴。在她个人身份转变的十年间，中国人也开始越来越关注设计。

　　最近的展览和拍卖经历包括：2019上海国际收藏级设计展，“言外之意”逵园艺术展，北京艺门画廊油画、装置“非”个展，莫斯科Heritage International画廊家具设计系列，2016设计上海“盆景”，2016法国PISA秋季拍卖等。

　　关于东景缘

　　东景缘位于北京市中心，与北京著名历史古迹景山公园及故宫仅几步之遥，是一处举行丰富多彩文化活动的场所。东景缘的历史可以追溯至明朝，明成祖永乐七年的御用印经厂即是今日东景缘的所在地;清朝年间，修建了三座供皇室成员定期举行纪念仪式的寺庙，作为其中之一的智珠寺——意为“智慧之寺”在此地建起。

　　20世纪，与3000多座北京寺庙一样，在经历一系列职能转变转为民用的过程中，智珠寺曾一度成为一家电视厂。2007年，当东景缘团队发现这里时，智珠寺已经破旧不堪，周围是由不同时代风格的房屋组成的一片建筑群，早已被人们所淡忘。

　　作为亚太地区文化遗产保护的最佳典范之一，2012年东景缘在联合国教科文组织亚太区文化遗产保护大赏上荣获极富威望的优秀奖。

　　如今，东景缘已演变为一处文化活动建筑群，成为文化及私人活动和演出的举办空间。其西北和西边的房屋已经粉饰一新，成为8间酒店套房，目前正处于试运营阶段，不久将完全向客人开放。

　　Lin Jing “Contradiction Space” Solo Exhibition Unveils in Temple

　　On December 15, 2019, Temple demonstrated the Lin Jing “Contradiction Space” Hand knotted Carpet Series, a latest cooperation outcome between the artist Lin Jing and the top-class artistic carpet brand, “Tan Carpet & Home”. The exhibition lasts from December 15, 2019 to the Lantern Festival of Chinese lunar calendar.

　　The top-class artistic carpet brand “Tan Carpet & Home”, since its foundation, has adopted creativity at the core of its brand development. Apart from pursuing the exquisiteness of processing, the brand also attaches great importance to the artistic innovational attempts to not only seek practicability, but also get rid of conventional design.

　　The artist Lin Jing is fond of observing familiar things using the polygon prism. The environment which is so familiar to her that can arouse no sense of novelty is made thrilling, curious or even pleasant to the audiences at the first sight. She attempts to deliver the experience to others through her artworks. The “Contradiction Space” carpet series launched together with “Tan Carpet & Home” acquires inspiration from the polygon prism, and reflects the visual world reflected by the polygon prism via the exquisite handicraft ingeniously.

　　Manufactured in Kathmandu, Nepal, the hand-knotted carpets of “Tan Carpet & Home” adopts the high-quality top-class carpet knotting process, alpine highland wool and natural silk from an elevation of above 4,500m. Every carpet is made via more than 20 procedures to achieve exquisite making.

　　Different from other carpets, the hand-made carpets feature a perfect combination of exquisite and unique design, proficiency in traditional hand knotting, and high-quality raw materials, which can not only provide an individualized spatial conception for modern consumers, but also possess strong collection value.

　　The furniture works and oil paintings of the artist Lin Jing are displayed as a whole. 　　About Lin Jing

　　After graduating from the Department of Wall Painting, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Lin Jing went to the Department of Sculpture, Académie royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, to further her study. Around one decade ago, she transferred to the design industry, soon becoming a popular independent designer. The “Fei” space under her leadership later became a garden for Chinese and Western independent designers. Lin Jing has never stopped her pace on her career path of being a designer. From being an artist to a designer to a booster of better development of independent designers, Lin Jing is ready to explore different fields. Over the past one decade, Lin Jing has been transforming her personality identity, and the Chinese people pay more and more attention to design.

　　About “Temple”

　　Located at the downtown of Beijing, “Temple” is just a few minutes’ walk away from two famous historical sites, including Jingshan Park and Imperial Palace, and has witnessed a variety of cultural activities held here. The history of “Temple” can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. The royal scripture printing plant at the 7th year under the reign of Emperor Chengzu of the Ming Dynasty was also located in today’s “Temple”. During the Qing Dynasty, three temples for memorials of royal families were set up, one of which Zhizhu Temple, meaning “Temple of Wisdom”, was erected here.

　　In the 20th century, like more than 3,000 temples in Beijing, after experiencing a series of functional transformation, Zhizhu Temple was made into a television manufacturing plant for civil use. In 2007, when “Temple” team went here, the temple was already dilapidated, which was surrounded by a building complex of different era styles, and fell into oblivion.

　　As one of the best paragons of the Asia-Pacific Cultural Heritage Protection, “Temple” won the “Recognition Award” on the “UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award for Cultural Heritage”.

　　Currently, “Temple” has been evolved into a complex for cultural activities and performances, either institutional or individual. The houses on the northwest and the west have been whitewashed into eight hotel suites. Now, they are still in the trial operation stage, and will be open to the public fully soon.
